The Strathmore Group is a privately held holding company that has owned and operated businesses since 1989, in health insurance, scientific instruments, government supply and automotive. You may have felt their work without ever hearing our name.
We look for leverage.
Most businesses begin by wanting to dominate their sector. The Strathmore Group began with a different aim. It looked for places in health insurance where a small investment could have an outsized effect.
That idea still shapes the group. We aim for impact out of proportion to the size of the investment, for the businesses we serve and for their employees and customers.
It also means staying. TSG owns and operates its businesses over the long term. The group was founded in 1989, and Kinder Scientific has been part of it since 1997.
